flawed copies for flawed times

Hello, dear readers!

If you celebrated any holidays these past few weeks, I hope they were peaceful and filled with warmth, love and good food. It’s the very least we all deserve, I think.

So, first things first—

Flawed copies just hit the shop. You can grab hardcover editions of Beneath the Buried Sea (yes, including the pre-order version with the steamy extended epilogue!) and Beyond the Aching Door while supplies last. Please read the listings for information on the condition!

There’s also still some paperback copies of Beyond the Aching Door that are a bit more budget friendly, too, at $8 USD. (No Beneath the Buried Sea flawed paperbacks yet, as shockingly the printer hasn’t screwed up yet. Don’t worry, I’m sure its inevitable.)

And now a little treat …

Here’s a peek at Jax Hnat’s concept sketch for the cover of Holy Wrath, my sapphic high fantasy releasing this spring. It’s a bloody, dark tale of religious fanaticism, men who think they are god, and the resilience of queer love. The FMC, Ophelia, is as soft as Raegan is hard, but just as relatable for it, I think. The love interest, Nyatrix, is a tall, muscular lady knight with a dagger-sharp smile and tons of feral rage. Yay!

The typography here is just a placeholder, and of course everything is subject to change, but … Jax absolutely NAILED it. I am floored. Like, I have no notes on the first damn CONCEPT sketch. All hail Jax. I can’t wait to share more about this book with you all <3

The world beneath the world beckons

I’m making a small change in my newsletter. If you’re signed up already, you’ll keep receiving shorter, news-focused emails like this one. I’ll keep my rambling to a minimum and focus on shop updates, announcements and fun things like concept sketches, character art, upcoming events, etc.
