hello, dear ones!
Can you believe that Holy Wrath is nearly here? On April 8, you’ll get to dive into my newest tale. This standalone, gothic sapphic novel is filled with femme rage, religious trauma, queer resilience and one very hot lady knight.
To celebrate, I wanted to give you a peek of the interior art work, all done by the incredible Rachael Ward!
You’ll find all three of these art pieces in every edition of Holy Wrath. Speaking of which, right now, you can plan on the following being available on release day:
KU, e-book and paperback - Amazon
paperback - Barnes & Noble
As a disabled author, it makes my life a LOT easier to focus on just getting the book out. That’s why there wasn’t a pre-order for physical copies, and why I haven’t opened one up just yet.
That said, there WILL be signed paperbacks and signed hardcovers! You can expect these to roll out closer to May, and of course I’ll keep you in the loop. I’m planning on having a pre-order and then keeping both paperbacks and hardcovers stocked over at The Spiral Bookcase. I appreciate your understanding while I do things a bit differently <3
happy 1st birthday to BTAD!
Wow, can you believe it? Just about a year ago, Beyond the Aching Door entered the world and changed my life. (No, I’m not a bestselling author or rolling in money. BUT, this book made me an author — and most importantly, it brought me all of you.)
My eternal gratitude to those of you who have supported me since the Fatebound Duology published. Those books showed me that there are readers who want the kinds of stories I want to write—filled with femme rage, brooding love interests, old-school folklore, and rich prose. And books that tackle deeper, serious issues alongside all the kissing. (My ideal book has both, if I’m honest.)
upcoming events
I have some amazing events coming up that I would LOVE to see you at if you’re local or in the area! I’m always so grateful to indie bookstores for carrying my books and including me in events, so it’s important that I do my best to get folks to show up <3

things I’ve loved lately
Mimi Matthew’s upcoming release, Rules for Ruin. This historical romance features an FMC that I loved almost immediately and a Tommy Shelby-coded MMC. Women’s wrongs, touch her and die, emotional prose, and a very cute dog.
I haven’t finished it just yet, but The Sapling Cage by Margaret Killjoy has been absolutely wonderful so far. What Killjoy is able to do with a standard, classical story is fantastic, and I’m really enjoying the short, terse, to-the-point prose.
Paintbox Soapworks makes the best hair oil for my fine, thin, slightly wavy hair, so they’re a ride or die for me. BUT the scents in the spring collection??? I don’t think I could’ve dreamed up something better! I needed to replace my current bottle of hair oil, so I grabbed Hiraeth (duh) and Dance of the Hares. I’m enjoying the last of my current scent, but dang, I’m excited for these!
A mass mobilization by Indivisible—overall a good org, in my opinion—is taking place across the country on April 5. You can use that link I included to see if there’s anything happening near you. Though I can’t vouch for every iteration of this grassroots protest, the one going down here in Philly is co-sponsored by many reputable orgs, including Reclaim, where I’m the vice-lead of communications and narrative! So that’s a good sign :) Getting in the streets isn’t for everyone—but big days of protest like this need numbers. Remember: a peaceful protest is a threat. We’re getting as many people into the streets to show that we can amass just as many for something far less peaceful. Here’s a quick guide to protesting safely if you’re new to the game!
before you go …
Don’t forget to grab something from the bonus content library! A goal of mine for 2025 is to work on expanding this, btw :)
The King’s POV | Chapter 44 — a peek into what Oberon was thinking and feeling during chapter 44 of Beyond the Aching Door. I definitely recommend having read the book before diving into this!
Verified Sighting | prequel story — if you’ve read Beneath the Buried Sea, you might be surprised to find out that two characters had already met! Here’s a look into those days in Prague. There’s no spoilers, really, so feel free to read this short tale about Cormac, Maelona and the King before or after the duology!
