Holy Wrath releases on April 8, 2025 and I’m so excited to give you—my lovely newsletter subscribers—a good look at this beauty before it hits social media.
HOW FUCKING PERFECT IS IT? Jax Hnat has been an absolute dream to work with and totally nailed my vision. I really wanted something for this book that 1) felt markedly different from the Fatebound Duology and 2) excited me on an artistic level.
For those of you who don’t know, I was an arts & entertainment journalist and spent quite a few years covering art in Philadelphia. (Which, by the way, we’ve got a kickass art scene, if you didn’t know.) Growing up, I never thought ~art~ was for regular people like me, so getting thrown into that world was super eye-opening. It made me realize art’s for everyone, and also made me insufferable because I learned how to Look At Things and Have Opinions.
In this literal hellscape, getting to just go wild with Jax and commission the cover of my dreams—that I also think is an incredible piece of art—was pure, sheer, queer joy that I desperately needed. I hope you love it as much as I do.
