we need more Raegan Overhills rn
go on, maybe Oberon will even call you a good girl
find the Raegan inside u and let her loose
I think everybody would benefit from this, but yeah, given the circumstances, I’m mostly talking to my fellow Americans right now.
We need to take care of each other. We need to fight for each other, with tooth and nail and fist if we must. Just like Raegan would.
If you’ve ever told yourself that you would finally get involved when the situation becomes untenable and all lines are crossed, then please hear me: that moment has already passed and those lines have already been trampled upon.
It is time to be a Raegan and spit in the face of the powers-that-would-be. Be an Ophelia and tear down an entire infrastructure of oppression. Be an Alice and build community with love and fierceness, no matter the cost.

There are more of us than there are them. Here’s a post by a lovely indie bookstore about how you can help if you’re outside the Twin Cities.
And here’s some national orgs you can join to start getting involved and figuring out what skills you bring to the table that help the fight. Remember, you don’t have to completely and utterly agree with any organization’s guiding principles to get the job done as long as we’re all on the same page about human rights. The rest is just how we do the work.
Indivisible **this one in particular is very chapter-dependent; some of them are lily-livered cowards more interested in “protest” pics for IG than revolutionary work, some of them have no idea what they’re doing, and some of ‘em quietly get it the fuck done.
the other stuff:
I’ll have details about a cover reveal, pre-order links, release date and more for Between the Rival Courts—if I’m not shot by ICE, of course. It’s hard to release a book from the grave.
And damn, this book sure is for the times, despite being an Arthurian retelling and a prequel to The Fatebound Duology. Here’s a peek at the jacket copy:
From the author of the Fatebound Duology comes an ambitious Arthurian telling about a banished witch and a changeling knight forced to join forces if they want to survive.
All Nyneve Or’Afon needs to do is prove herself to the Druid Elders. Then the young sorceress can go home—back to her magic and her studies, pursuing all the mysteries the world has to offer.
But there’s a rather large obstacle in her way: the handsome and cunning Sir Mordred Pendragon, knight of the Round Table and bastard son of King Arthur. From the very first moment they meet, he’s deeply suspicious of Nyneve. After all, Mordred knows exactly what an outsider with a secret looks like.
Because he is one: a faerie changeling embedded deep in King Arthur’s court. And if anyone could uncover the truth about him, it’s the spellbinding sorceress who makes him weak in the knees … which means Mordred will do almost anything to get her out of Camelot.
But as war brews, a notorious sorcerer returns and an ancient god rolls in his grave, Mordred and Nyneve find their similarities growing into a dangerous attraction—and a necessary alliance if they have any chance of surviving what’s to come.
Perfect for fans of My Name is Morgan and The Guinevere Deception, Between the Rival Courts is a sweeping medieval fantasy about conquest, religion, power, and—perhaps the deadliest of them all—relentless, unyielding love.
To help get you even more excited, enjoy a sketch from Jax Hnat (@gildedruin) of Mordred and Nyneve:
His HAAAAAND, ya’ll. Jax always knows exactly what they’re doing with hands.
that’s all for now
Like Rachel Gillig wrote in the Shepherd King Duology: be clever, be wary, be good. Keep your communities safe, friends. Your love is a sword, if you wield it right.
with rage and love,
